A couple of follow-ups from our meeting: DON’T FORGET about the goals you set! Everyone knows what their individual goals are over the next two weeks and you are officially being held accountable for them - in a loving way, of course! :-) We are all looking for a report on your success!
And I am SORRY- but I WILL be bringing those amazing brownies, again!! Just do a few extra minutes on the treadmill next week! :-)
Our next meeting will be an on-camera class, since that was one of the overall needs of the group - wanting to practice on-camera and get feedback. We will provide scripts to work on. Remember to wear your “camera-ready clothes” (solid colors except all black, white or read.)
Looking forward to seeing you all again in two weeks!
What to bring: demo reels, headshots, comp cards, business cards. This will be a great networking opportunity. If you know of some great auditions happening - bring that info. We’ll share challenges and solutions. If you took a great new instructor - bring that news to share. If you have a great monologue, bring it with you. This will be a full opportunity for creative expression!

Raymond Forchion - On-Camera
***MUST have taken intensive to take this workshop****
3-Day On-Camera
March 10-12
Please note you will spend almost 40 hours in this workshop over the 3-day weekend – the rough schedule is:
Friday - 7pm - 3am
Saturday - 12noon - 4am
Sunday - 12 noon - 8am **Ray will set the specific hours**
You will feel energized like never before, so be ready to devote the entire weekend to exploring your craft. Please do not consider this workshop if you can not commit. You will have scenes with other actors. You owe it to them and quite frankly - you owe it to yourself to be fully present and in the moment!
Raymond Forchion, Award winning actor, writer, producer and director, headed the Screen Actors Guild LA Casting Committee for six years. He has done several pilots and TV movies, and he has co-starred on such series as Star Trek: The Next Generation, Golden Girls, Will and Grace, Wiseguy, In the Heat of The Night, and had recurring roles on General Hospital, and Miami Vice. He has starred on stage and in almost 100 commercials. With several screenplays under his belt, Raymond is a produced writer, and associate produced the Oscar nominated Last Breeze of Summer. Raymond has given his exciting Motivational Acting Seminars around the country and has coached working actors for over fifteen years.
Philosophy: Mr. Forchion believes the secret of acting is that there is no secret. The craft of acting must be de-mystified and made more practical and immediate. Acting is a state of being and action, not of introspection and self indulgence. No Mumbo Jumbo! Raymond gets the performer out of his own head and allows him to be presented to the marketplace. Raymond’s philosophy is that an actor has to keep active and visible. Actors also need to be nurtured. The business beats us up enough. The greatest actor in the world if he or she is unseen, is often considered bad as the worst.
If you have taken Raymond’s 3-Day intensive – its time to take it to the next level!!!! Workout and see what you are really doing and how you are perceived on camera. Raymond’s expertise will help you to find the performance in you that will set you apart from the competition!
$375.00 - LIMITED to 14 students.
