INCENTIVE 911 - ACT NOW!

Dear Florida Film workers,

It looks like the incentive will stick at $5M. The conference report
comes out this afternoon and will confirm. This is a set back, and it
is a done deal. Nothing to do about it now.

HOWEVER, SB2778 evidently passed in the Senate. Senator Galvano
added language to our “rollover” amendment (which we want) that would take $1.5M of our total incentive to “be used for international
cultural festival planning” leaving us with only $3.5M to use as our
statue intended.

The House could vote on the companion bill today. Click on the link
below. Call the Tallahassee office of every Representative that you
can. Urge them to strike lines 2376 - 2381 from HB7111. Do it now!
