Hollywood WEEKEND intensive

Director/Producer/Actor/Coach, Will Wallace is going to coach a weekend intensive for local and out of state talent. He is looking for strong actors who would like to continue their training in L.A. If you are interested, please contact me to get more information.

Weekend students will participate in a three day intensive starting Friday, Feb. 10 - Sunday Feb. 12th. The program will allow the actors the opportunity to work with working actors in LA, as many of Will's current students work in film and on TV shows. These students will not only work with Will, but also have the opportunity to meet and work with a variety of other industry professionals as Will is going to bring guests to meet the class. Many of Will's current students book numerous jobs a year just from coming to class. It is quite difficult to get into Will's acting classes within LA, and there is a waiting list to audition, so this is a unique opportunity to get to train with Will & let him become familiar with your work. The classes will cover: improvisation, cold-reading, and audition technique as well as advanced scene study.

The criteria: Committed individuals with solid potential, but most importantly a strong love of the craft, and a desire to challenge oneself. If you're interested please contact me A.S.A.P.

(Jacksonville, FL) The Don Davis Film Finishing Fund annually provides cash and in-kind production services to deserving filmmakers needing help to complete their film projects. The projects submitted have a broad range of subject matter and are judged by a committee of top industry professionals. As its name implies, the goal of the fund is to provide financial and/or in-kind support to filmmakers in order to finish their films. This is done through an annual judging processing, usually completed in May of each year.

Gersh Morningstar, beloved industry 'Guru' and former Publisher of The Florida Blue Sheet, passed away this morning, Friday, March 4, 2011. Gersh had relocated to Texas to be near his daughter following a long illness. He is survived by his wife, Carolanne Morningstar....
