Raymond Forchion - Intensive Retreat
===========================
May 16-18, 2008
Friday - 7pm - 1am
Saturday & Sunday - 10am to 1am
*Limited to 14 participants* - $350
You will feel energized like never before, so be ready to devote the entire weekend to exploring your craft. Please do not consider this retreat if you can not commit. You will have scenes with other actors. You owe it to them and quite frankly - you owe it to yourself to be fully present and in the moment!
Raymond Forchion, Award winning actor, writer, producer and director, headed the Screen Actors Guild LA Casting Committee for six years. He has done several pilots and TV movies, and he has co-starred on such series as Star Trek: The Next Generation, Golden Girls, Will and Grace, Wiseguy, In the Heat of The Night, and had recurring roles on General Hospital, and Miami Vice. He has starred on stage and in almost 100 commercials. With several screenplays under his belt, Raymond is a produced writer, and associate produced the Oscar nominated Last Breeze of Summer. Raymond has given his exciting Motivational Acting Seminars around the country and has coached working actors for over fifteen years.
Philosophy: Mr. Forchion believes the secret of acting is that there is no secret. The craft of acting must be de-mystified and made more practical and immediate. Acting is a state of being and action, not of introspection and self indulgence. No Mumbo Jumbo! Raymond gets the performer out of his own head and allows him to be presented to the marketplace. Raymond’s philosophy is that an actor has to keep active and visible. Actors also need to be nurtured. The business beats us up enough. The greatest actor in the world if he or she is unseen, is often considered bad as the worst.
SEMINAR OBJECTIVES
OBJECTIVE A: To increase the actor’s confidence and ability to take more risks in the work.
OBJECTIVE B: To sharpen the actor’s ability to analyze the script quickly and create a believable character.
OBJECTIVE C: To explore the differences between stage and film technique in acting and auditioning.
OBJECTIVE D: To stimulate and instill new fire and passion and performance power in the more experienced actor.
OBJECTIVE E: To aid the performer’ s career development.
OBJECTIVE F: To familiarize Commercial talent, Models, Stage and newer actors with practical techniques and cold reading skills that will make them more employable. $350.00 - **LIMITED to 14 students. Call Lisa/Laura to 954.731.4888 to sign up!!!

Taylor did it, he finally killed her. But now that the deed has been done he is visited by unexplainable horrors. Is it all in his head? Or can the dead really take revenge?
Character Breakdowns:
Taylor: 26, thin - average build. A stereotypical introvert with a few more screws loose then even he is aware of. He has no true love for Jenny yet he is afraid to leave her, not by any doing of hers, but rather fear of making the wrong choice. Although he is not prone to violent behavior or short tempered outbursts, Taylor has been pushed in every area of his life and he is finally about to break. (Lead)
Cop: 25 - 35, A honestly good cop. He always gives the benefit of a doubt and never abuses power. He has never been in any life threatening conflict, so to some extent he is a bit naive to it. He is tough, but only by necessity.
