Are you looking for real feedback, notes you can take back and use to improve your craft? This is the workshop! You will work with monologues as well as scene work. Judy gets to the heart of what may be holding you back and lets you know how you can improve. She will challenge you and give you notes to take it to the next level - don’t miss her!!
HOMEWORK: To prepare for the weekend– watch Angelina Jolie’s performance in “Gia”, Meryl Streep’s performance in “Bridges of Madison County” and “The Notebook”. be familiar with the TV series, “Lost” and the feature film, “Knocked Up”. Create a list of parts or actors you see yourself playing. This is for marketing and how you will be cast, your niche. If you don’t know we will decide on some for you. I will want to see your list to see if you see yourself as I do.
What to Bring: Your lunch, snacks and water. Sweater if you get cold. Pictures and resumes. (2) MINI DV tapes. All of your performances and your feedback will be recorded for you to take home. You will be on-camera for all of your scene work so make sure to wear/bring flattering clothes/colors. You will want your make-up and hair to look good, too.
There will be a couple of 15 minute breaks and maybe a 20 minute break mid-day but the majority of the time will be spent working.
All of your work will be on camera. I will have handed out day-player scripts and monologues ahead of time. The monologues must be memorized and rehearsed if you wish to show them to me. You don’t have to do a monologue unless you want to. Everyone will do a prepared day-player script on Saturday and a scene on Sunday. We will use a timer, each actor will receive the same amount of time during all of the weekend’s events for acting and career instruction.
*Judy may want to use snippets of your work from the weekend on her website/myspace, so there will be a release for you to sign to OK the use of your footage. Call Lisa or Laura today to sign up! 954.731.4888

—————————————-
Reply to: regina@bocamodels.com
Looking for SAG Actors. True Russian / Or must have a perfect Russian Accent.
Males 20’s-30’s and 50’s
Females 20’s
You must fit the description above for consideration.
TV Series, “Walk on Water”
—————————–
Casting Call for Christian TV Series. I need female actress for: “Walk On Water” A half hour drama TV show. The show will involve a short term commitment at this time (3 days of shooting plus Rehearsal). The show will air on CTN TV in Ft. Myers FL and the web. Possibly on WCLF TV 22 in Tampa Bay as well. Actors needed should be between ages 18-25yrs. All experience levels needed.
This is a great opportunity for those wishing to build their resume, gain more experience and be seen by others. Show may be syndicated nationally in the future, depending on its success. The show is scripted, although shot reality/MTV style. Mostly outdoors.
Premise: 5 college age kids are spending their summer in the Tampa Bay area prior to going to college. One of the girls is a strong Christian, One is more of an Atheist/Agnostic type, and the third girl is “on the fence". Two guys are dating two of the girls. The show deals with some serious topics, although often discussed or confronted with by Believers and Non-Believers alike : Living Together, Consequences of our Actions, Addictions, Does God Exist…The Value of Life…etc.
1. The show will have it’s own website where you can watch the episodes.
2. The show will be televised in Ft. Myers/Naples area on a local TV station.
3. The show is likely to be televised in the Tampa bay area on the Christian TV Network.
4. We are gearing up for shooting the first 4 half-hour shows over a 3 day period I know, that’s a lot but I can explain this better in person at the
audition.
5. These first 4 shows are being produced with ZERO budget. All volunteers. Its being paying out of the directors own pocket for the production cost.
6. These 4 shows will give me ammunition to pursue sponsors, underwriters & investors for future/additional shows.
7. Everyone will receive a DVD copy and hopefully gain some experience and exposure through this effort.
8. The entire purpose of this project is the have a positive impact with an entertaining, family/Christian TV show.
send Headshot and resume as attachment, no my space, websites or forward to will be accepted.
