You will find CD’s (short for casting director) from all over the country and we are continuing to add information from additional states!  Click on the menu to the right.

Here are a couple tips to keep in mind as you head out to auditions:

- Always arrive 15-20 minutes before your audition time.  You never want to feel rushed when you walk in to your audition.

- Have  5 to 10 headshots with you at all times.  You may need to give multiple shots to the CD and you never know who you will meet that you will want to give your headshots to.

- Plan to wait.  Some offices run smoothly – but all offices have a crazy day now and then and you may have to wait.  Bring a book, ipod, read over your sides.  Make yourself comfy and keep a positive attitude.  Patience goes a long way.

- Don’t chat in the waiting room. Remember, auditioning is your JOB as an actor.  When you are lucky, you get booked and get to work, but you will audition more than you work.  Take it and yourself seriously.  Stay in the right frame of mind as you wait for your turn.  Chatting can get you off your game… someone tells you a weird story, funny jokes, relationship drama – then suddenly you are not thinking about your character or any of your prep work.  Keep your head in the game.

- Suggest the part in your dress.  If you are auditioning as a nurse – you don’t have to dress like a nurse, but you can suggest the part.  If you are playing a young mom, don’t go in dressed like you are going out dancing.
