MARY LOU BELLI is the co-author of “The Sitcom Career Book” and “Acting for Young Actors.” She is an Emmy® Award winning producer, writer, and director. She was a director for 6 consecutive seasons of “Girlfriends” which aired on the CW network. She directed “Living With Fran” starring Fran Drescher, “Misconceptions", starring Jane Leeves, and “Eve", starring hip-hop artist Eve. Most recently, she has directed the USA networks, hit show “Monk", starring Tony Shalhoub. She is beginning work on her third book, “THE CRAFT OF DIRECTING TELEVISION” for Focal Press.
